Also available is the AFTA Employment Guidelines Manual.

This contains full details on:
|
- Employment Procedures – hiring new staff and the laws

AFTA can also send a copy of the applicable Award, which includes the current wage rates to members at no charge.
At this time travel industry employees fall under one of two awards - the Clerks - Private Sector Award 2010 or the General Retail Industry Award 2010. The IR Hotline can assist if you are not sure which Award your staff fall under.
To access the Employment Guidelines Manual or the Awards, simply contact AFTA on 02 9287 9900 and we can e-mail you these details. You will need to quote your membership number. |
